African black soap provides natural organic skin care for all skin types and can alleviate most skin conditions. A study of various samples of African black soap found that black soap “possessed antimicrobial properties [that] can contribute to the treatment and management of skin infections caused by bacteria”.

African Black soap has been used for healing problem skin from acne to eczema and from simple rashes to contact dermatitis and psoriasis for centuries. It fades dark spots and lessens discoloration. African black soap is a natural microdermabrasion. It can lightly exfoliate skin and deliver healthier looking complexions.

African black soap is ideal for all skin types. For drys skin, the coconut oil counteracts dryness and for oily skin it provides moisture to balance overactive sebaceous glands. For acne African black soap contains plantain extract, which has antibacterial properties that may help treat acne breakouts.

It’s also great for:

  • Shaving and reducing razor burn

  • Preventing, healing, and controlling face and body acne

  • Protection against free radicals

  • A natural source of antioxidants

  • Improving skin tone

  • Preventing pre-mature aging

  • Fading dark spots from sun, acne, and bug bites

How best use African black soap:

  • Lather skin gently. African black soap has exfoliating properties so you don’t need to scrub or rub hard to get that clean feeling.

  • Do NOT apply raw black soap directly to skin. Authentic African black soap has ash granules that might cause scratches if applied directly.

  • Lather up soap in hands first before putting on face, then enjoy the natural cleansing.

  • For shaving, lather using natural shaving brush or hands and apply to skin.
